Mario Gonzalez


Mario Gonzalez began his real estate career in 1996. His career path provides a solid foundation in the fundamentals of commercial real estate. His experience includes real estate appraisal, authoring market feasibility studies for development projects, financial feasibility and advanced project modeling, acquisition and disposition of real estate, site selection, asset management, securing construction financing, brokerage and advisory to private clients, and development of commercial and multifamily real estate.

Prior to forming Gonzalez Longoria Real Estate Advisors, he served as Vice President over the span of eleven years for two major San Antonio based real estate development and investment firms. During that time, he was responsible for the development of over two-hundred million dollars in commercial real estate and over fifty million dollars in acquisition.

Mr. Gonzalez is a graduate of Texas A&M University and holds a Master of Land Economics and Real Estate. In addition, he was awarded a Bachelor of Business Administration from Sam Houston State University. He is a member of the Society of Texas A&M Real Estate Professionals and is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) candidate. He holds a Texas real estate license and has completed more than 1500 hours of commercial and residential real estate appraisal.

In December 2004, Mr. Gonzalez was a recipient of the highly coveted San Antonio Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Rising Stars of the San Antonio Business Community. Mr. Gonzalez enjoys spending time with his wife and two children and also enjoys an occasional opportunity to enjoy in the great outdoors.
